Reflexology
Reflexology is a wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic therapy which involves the massage of the feet ( hands can also be massaged). It aids healing to the whole person and encourages the body, mind & soul to maintain its natural equilibrium
Pressure points on the feet correspond to areas within the body and by massaging these points congestion can be eased eventually restoring a natural flow.
Throughout life, we experience both physical and emotional traumas, some we are not even aware of. These can become stored in our cellular memory and can, become a precursor to dis-ease and ill health.
Reflexology is one of many treatments that when given over time can help to release these old patterns, allowing us to let go and to bring ourselves back into balance. The energy flows through our bodies, connecting to the fascia and gently restores us to our natural rhythm. We are meant to be healthy and happy and so often cannot remember this!
You may come along with a specific ailment such as IBS, stress, infertility, or you may just be feeling under the weather or needing some nurturing.
If you don’t believe there is enough ‘evidence’ for this treatment, you can just relax and have a fabulously relaxing foot massage.
Regular sessions will help you to keep well and support you through the challenges of life.
Taking care of your own health needs is becoming essential to surviving what life can throw at you! Having an hour just for you to talk, relax, reflect or doze with an experienced therapist who you can trust, feel safe with and be supported by is rare and special and may be just the tonic you need.

Many people use reflexology as a way of relaxing the mind and body and counteracting stress. Some doctors, consultants and other health care professionals recognise reflexology as a well established, respected and effective therapy.
On the first visit you will have a talk with the reflexologist who will take a history in confidence. This will determine the best treatment for you.
You will then be invited to sit in a relaxing chair and the reflexologist will apply pressure and massage to the feet.
Subtle changes can be detected and working on these points can ease symptoms in some cases. This will usually last an hour
