Counselling

Counselling provides a safe space for you to express your self and eventually make steps to find ways forward from conflict, anxiety, overwhelm, lack & many other issues that plague us in this frantic world.

We recognise that finding ‘ help’ is needed but so often finding the right person for you can be a huge challenge. Someone that you can trust with your deep seated concerns can be hard to find. We do know that sharing and reflecting with someone who is kind, compassionate and non judgemental can really make a difference.

Sometimes we need to look back at childhood traumas, patterns issues, fears and sometimes we benefit from making steps to deal with what is happening in the now. We cannot change the past but we can change how we see it.

Jill has 40 years of experience and draws on this to find the best way forward for you. Sometimes support is needed and change happens when you are ready as I expect it has taken you a while to decide to have therapy. Jill will stay beside you on your journey and understand when you need to cry, get angry or are just plain scared.

Jill has experience in many forms of therapy from systems theory to family therapy, to mindfulness to dealing with anxiety, fears, depression, addictions and feels that these issues can be changed. You may feel that there is no hope but believe me there is. So just come for a session and you can decide how counselling can help you.

Young people, couples, bereaved, those looking for meaning.

Jill often says ‘ I will be your witness’ and you will feel that weight will lift in its own time in its own way.

With experience in the psychiatric field, and working with many clients over the years in creative ways, you are very welcome to discuss any queries before your first visit .
